The book is composed from scanned images of old newspapers and combined with abstract elements from scanned details from my own paintings.

The medium of the book allows the images to be put in a concrete order and to be closer to the viewer. In that way, they can be physically touched and experienced. In the beginning of the book , there is a poem by Muriel Rukeyser - “The Poem As Mask”. The text ends with:

Now, for the first time, the god lifts his hand, the fragments join in me with their own music.
